Theede Family

I headed to North Dakota, to capture these photos before the Theede's started combining wheat. The wheat is so beautiful when it is that golden yellow and Kaylee really wanted pics in wheat. It is easy to see why, when you see how the images turned out! It was extremely hot, as it has been all summer, so we found a shady spot to take them. Even so, we were still sweating hot, but everyone hung in there pretty well!

I love love love the color scheme they chose to wear! It looks so good with the wheat for a backdrop. It really pays to take the time to plan what you want to wear for a family photo shoot. We started out with Kaylee, Brady and the girls. These girls are the cutest! ( my grandkids too, so maybe a little biased) Lyla was smiling for a bit...Lennon, not so much. But, she was looking at the camera, so that is a win! We did some goofing around, as well- that got more smiles and laughter out of Lyla! I also got some super cute pics of just Lyla, as she is soon going to be turning 2! We then got some shots of the whole family. The adults did their job and stayed looking at the camera for most of the time- even when kids were not cooperating. We were losing the littles a bit at this point. Like I said...it was hot! Corey and Kristie wanted some with the girls, so that was next! We then did some walking candid shots, which I just love! These kind of shots are often my favorite. Lastly, Nate and Cassidy, recently got engage, so we did some of them with their pup! Charlie is quite young, so we should feel very accomplished to get one of her looking at the camera and sitting! All in all, we survived the heat and got some really great portraits!
