Katie + Ethan

It was a year ago when I had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Ethan's wedding ceremony. Like many,, they had to change their plans to simple backyard ceremony and small reception. Evan thought it was not what they had planned, it was beautiful and special.

This year, they decided to go through with their reception. It was a relaxing day, full of fun! We began the afternoon on Lake Bemidji. The weather was perfect. I had fun with the wedding party on a pontoon. The bride and groom were aboard their fishing boat. We took some portraits and some candid's and even some of them fishing! Have you ever seen a bride and groom casting out their lines decked out in full wedding attire? After a quick stop at Rutger's for a drink it was off to the reception.

It was so nice to see people gather and enjoy the company of friends and loved ones. The speeches were heartfelt and funny! Many people had fun dancing. Especially the kids. I love to watch kids dance at a wedding party. They have so much fun. Congratulations to both of you! You have so much love for each other and really shines through to others.
